Letter from the Editor October

Thank you to our readers and supporters. Six months and we are still growing. Thank you for all the kind words, emails, and support.

Now more than ever, scuba leaders need business help, real help in learning how to make their scuba business succeed! As we say, our mission is in our name: ScubaBiz.Help.

This month we are launching a week later than usual. Why? Well, I am happy that our prominent team members have been quite busy. Firstly Jean-Marc and Karen were back and forth between Europe and the Caribbean, setting up plans and ideas for our readers and followers. As for myself, I was in Canada getting ready for my next chapter in life, going between Canada and Curacao in the Dutch Caribbean. And our excellent article writer, Gene Muchanski, worked in the United States and beyond.

Whether you are a store, charter boat, club, resort or independent instructor, we strive to bring relevant information to scuba professionals worldwide.

Last month’s issue introduced a new column called Ryan’s Movie and TV Corner. This new column brought in much positive feedback, so we are pleased to say that it will be a regular item in this and future magazine issues. Thank you for letting us know.

This month we are introducing a new hot topic. Everyone needs an “Elevator Speech.” Over the coming weeks will be launching a program to assist you in building your elevator speech, promoting our elevator speeches and having a contest with prizes to reward our reading in developing this vital business tool. Be sure to read the article, as this is the issue it gets started, all on page 21! Best of all, this program is free to you! Dates will be announced for the upcoming workshop on this program.

A personal favourite of mine in this month’s issue is a letter from a wonderful young man that truly inspires me, Ace. Be sure to read about his mission in diving!

Have you joined our ScubaBiz.Help Facebook Group? Now that the ScubaBiz.Help in Bonaire is underway, please stay tuned as we will launch more dates soon for other locations in the Caribbean, Canada, and Europe.

Is there a topic that you need to hear about? Or do you need personal assistance? We are easy to reach. Please email us at info@ScubaBiz.Help or contact us on our social media.
