Letter from the Editor June

Last month we were pleased with the great response to our first issue of the ScubaBiz.Help magazine. Thank you to all that sent emails and started following and sending likes on our social media platforms. Our mission to provide business support, knowledge, and ideas to stores, charter boats, resorts and independent instructors is on track and moving forward.

 

We have added a new feature called “Scuba Events Worldwide” in this issue. This feature will be found both in the magazine and on the website. To list events in your area, please send the details to info@ScubaBiz.Help, and we will add the event. Or check the article on how to send in articles and events.

 

In June, we will be adding two new areas to our service. The first will be our “Hot Topics.” These topics are those hard to decide areas that you need to find your position on and build into your business. Often there are different theories on a topic, and there can be more than one correct answer depending on the services that a business offers. We will not tell you what is right, we will only assist by guiding you to the correct decision for your business. Our role will be to present the topic and points of view so that you can take It from there and make your decision as to what is best for your business.

 

In June, we will also start our online seminar series. The first session will be “Meet Our Team,” where we will introduce our main team members and discuss our mission to see what we can do for you. Remember, our mission is in our name.

 

Next month we have some great topics that will assist you in learning and building. One topic will be on warrantees and returns and knowing the balance between looking after your customer and your supplier. Another topic will be the “Life of an Independent Instructor”.

 

These services are at no cost to any scuba professional. Instead, we will rely on both advertisers and those who can afford to send whatever financial support they can.
