Letter from the Editor July

The third issue is out! Hard to believe that three months have passed since the official launch of ScubaBiz.Help, and what a three months it has been!

 

Our subscriptions have grown, a new advertiser is calling us, and our 28-day rolling Facebook contact totals well over 2000 contacts consistently. In the last thirty days, we have exceeded 10,000 dive industry contacts, and we are still growing. Thank you for the many positive comments; they truly mean a lot.

 

Our mission to provide business support, knowledge, as well as ideas to stores, charter boats, resorts and independent instructors is on track and moving forward.

 

This past month we launched our Facebook group for guided and open discussion with industry professionals. If you have

not joined, this is a good time.

 

Also released in June was the ScubaBiz.Help “Hot Topic Discussions.” These discussions will assist Instructors and divemasters in finding the correct answers for their scuba businesses. The first topic, “Multiple versus Single Organization Licences”, has already been launched, and the next topic, “Warranty, Repairs and Returns”, will be launched shortly. Both of these topics are covered in articles in this month’s magazine.

 

We are tested and ready to go on our Instructor Learning Workshops. These live-streamed workshops will cover various topics to assist you in finding your answers and your path to a successful scuba business. And the great news is that you can participate in your chosen language at ScubaBiz.Help, as we are genuinely focused on the entire world and not one region. The first two dates are set for Sunday, July 3 and Sunday, July 17.

ScubaBiz.Help will be running an Instructor clinic in Bonaire at the beginning of October. In addition to instructor courses, we will run workshops on various topics that will be fine-tuned to meet the needs of those in attendance. In addition, we are looking at running one In Ontario, Canada, during August this year. More locations will be announced in the coming months. The Bonaire dates are filling up quickly, so book right away to avoid disappointment.
